Lois Elaine (Burrows) McManus, 91, of Washington Court House passed away on February 10, 2024, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Lois was born March 31, 1932, in Traverse City, Michigan to the late Glenn and Edna (Glauch) Burrows. She had worked there for many years at the Munson Medical Center. Throughout her life Lois was a loving soul with an outgoing personality. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. She had just the right combination of strong will and determination, which allowed her to thrive in her golden years.
Along with her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra McManus, a sister, Phyllis Annis, and two brothers, Max and Jerome Burrows.
Remaining to carry on her legacy are her sons, David McManus and his wife Lynette from Wisconsin, Tim McManus and his wife Linda of Washington Court House, and grandchildren, Kyle McManus and his wife Jennifer, Colby Fortin, Lexi Soupist and her husband Sean, Callie Johns, Trinity Johns, Alix Thorington and Willow Thorington. She was also surrounded by love from her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her many dear friends, including lifelong friend Joyce Burrows and special friend, Kathy McManus.
Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be planned in Michigan at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at givenow.lls.org.
