Paul David Orihood, 87, of Washington Court House passed away on February 4, 2024, at the Four Seasons of Washington.
David was born January 27, 1937, in Leesburg, Ohio to the late Paul and Marjorie (Taylor) Orihood. David was proud veteran of the US Army. He was a lab technician at Dupont in Circleville, where he retired after 30 years. As a young dad, David was active with the local 4-H and involved with several aspects of horses and horse shows, while supporting Cheryl. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying both golf and hunting. He was a former member of the AmVets 2256 in Circleville, New Holland Lions Club, and the New Holland Masonic Lodge #392.
Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Grace in 2022, and a sister, Peggy Nigh.
He is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Bret) Powell, a niece, Deanna (Lee) Moore, a nephew, Randall (Harriet) Dice, a great nephew, Adam Dice, God children, Olivia and Easton Haycook and their parents, Shea and Jesse Haycook, as well as his many friends.
A service is planned at 1pm on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Roberts Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Milledgeville Plymouth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the start of the service.
